Jessica Rabbit Store 25th Anniversary - Part Three: The Merchandise
The Jessica Rabbit store was not short on the amount of merchandise it offered. Though the building was only a few hundred square feet of shopping space, it was packed with shirts, mugs, jackets, magnets, towels, tote bags, jewelry, and yes... even lingerie. Who Framed Roger Rabbit was a blockbuster movie, it was followed by two short cartoons, with another on the way by the time the Jessica Rabbit store was in place. It would appear there would be plenty of time to capitalize on the character - but unfortunately that time came to a quick and sudden end. There has been little record of Jessica's and the merchandise that was once available, especially since Pleasure Island is now a thing of the past.
Here for the first time is a very exclusive look at the vast selection of merchandise available at Jessica's. We will get inside information about some of the items through artist interviews and even see concept art for merchandise never produced.

New Jessica Rabbit Shirt
There's a new fan-made Jessica Rabbit T-shirt out there that can be found on TeePublic. Jessica is standing inside a pink heart, with "Ink and Paint Club - established 1947" around her. The pose, design by Ellador, is very similar to one of the Jessica Rabbit Valentine pins from the Disney Auction days. The shirt is available in a variety of colors and sizes and sells for $14.00 each.

Flashback Friday - Who Framed Roger Rabbit Baseball Jersey
In the early 90's, Roger Rabbit merchandise was incredibly scarce (which meant that Jessica merchandise was non-existent). A few things were released over time, but for any Roger and Jessica apparel, there was only one shirt released - the Roger Rabbit baseball jersey-style shirt. It was a first of it's kind, and a huge surprise release for The Disney Store. Take a look at this cool shirt with the cartoon cast of Who Framed Roger Rabbit:

Flashback Friday - Jessica Rabbit And Mickey Mouse
It was a rare occasion to see any merchandise of Jessica Rabbit and another Disney character - especially Mickey Mouse himself! This women's shirt was a very surprising offering around 2005 from the World Of Disney New York store. Read up on a time when Jessica Rabbit merchandise was starting to be seen a lot more around the parks and stores:ImNotBad.com - A Jessica Rabbit Site: Jessica Rabbit Merchandise Review #40 - Jessica and Mickey Shirt

Disney Cruise Line Jessica Rabbit Shirt
A brand new Jessica Rabbit shirt has been released on the Disney Cruise Lines. I believe this is a first for a Jessica Disney Cruise shirt - and what a shirt it is. Earlier in the week it was reported there was a DCL pin coming soon, and that same great design has made its way to a shirt. A sailor-clad Jessica Rabbit is sitting on an anchor and showing a whole lot of leg. Her hat and the anchor have the Disney Cruise Line logo. "I'm not bad. I just CRUISE that way," is written around her in white. The art has a sort of pin-up style and also a slightly distressed look. The shirt material is blue. It's selling for around $24.95 on Disney Cruise ships. News of this fantastic release comes from Scott Sanders at the Disney Cruise Line Blog.

Jessica Rabbit Christmas Gift List
Not sure what gift to get a Jessica Rabbit collector this year? Maybe you're still searching for something you've missed out on? Let's take a look at what's still available for this years Jessica Rabbit Gift List:
This year neo-pop artist Romero Britto added Jessica Rabbit to his catalog of Disney characters recreated in his bright, energetic style. Known for his use of bold colors, graffiti patterns and elements of cubism, Jessica joined the list of Disney characters recreated by Britto, such as the Little Mermaid, Tinker Bell and Mickey Mouse. This is a great piece at a very affordable price. The Jessica Rabbit Britto Bust is still available to buy from a few different locations, like WorldWideArt.com. To read my review of the Jessica Rabbit Britto Bust - CLICK HERE.
The first Jessica Rabbit ornament to be released in ten years (and the very first Christmas ornament to feature both Roger and Jessica together) is certainly one not to be passed on. All ornaments from the Sketchbook series had been on sale at lowering prices, and while this particular ornament is sold out from the Disney Store website, it might still be available to buy at your local Disney Store. Originally $12, they now sell for $7.77 each. To read my review of the Roger and Jessica Rabbit Sketchbook Ornament - CLICK HERE.
The wait was finally over not too long ago for the highly anticipated third novel in the Roger Rabbit series, Who Wacked Roger Rabbit? by Gary Wolf. It is and eBook with cover art by Jacques Muller (an actual animator from Who Framed Roger Rabbit) and it's available for $4.99 through Musa Publishing. Get your copy of this new eBook today! To read my review of the new Roger Rabbit novel - CLICK HERE.
This colorful artwork by Manny Hernandez, originally first seen at the D23 2013 Convention, is available to purchase online. Titled We're In This Together, it is unframed measuring 16" x 12" for $125 and depicts Roger and Jessica Rabbit from the climactic movie ending. While this is a higher end item, it's still available at a fairly decent price. The scene was originally animated by Jacques Muller, who recently gave us the cover and character art for the newly released Who Wacked Roger Rabbit? novel. You can buy this artwork by Manny Hernandez now from WordWideArt.com.
Titled, Drawn This Way, Jessica Rabbit by Jim Shore was revealed in January of 2012, and makes this years list again for Jessica Collectible Must-Haves. It can still easily be found online though the Jim Shore website for an extremely reasonable $55. When I first saw this, I was excited that Jessica was finally being added to this series, however it was almost a year after it's release that I decided to purchase it. I couldn't be more pleased with this statue, and I think fans of Jessica can really enjoy this piece. To read my review of the Jim Shore Jessica Rabbit Statue - CLICK HERE.
The Roger's Piano Bar and Night Club shirt is also another item that's been out a while, but still worth mentioning again. Both Roger AND Jessica are included on the back of this shirt. The shirt fabric is grey. The whole design is printed with a "distressed" look to make the shirt image appear older - so cracks and missing paint areas are normal to appear throughout. Jessica is playfully sitting atop a piano in her famous neon sign pose and the whole shirt is fantastic. It's available for $24.95 in two different styles, one which is marked Walt Disney World and the other marked Disneyland Resort. To read my review of the Roger's Piano Bar and Night Club shirt - CLICK HERE.
Are you shopping for the Jessica Rabbit collector who has everything? Jessica Rabbit Merchandise Review #56 - Jessica Salute Shirt
Four Who Framed Roger Rabbit shirts were very surprisingly released all at once at World of Disney stores, three of them being Jessica shirts. It generated a bit of a buzz online, since it was a small surge in merchandise for the characters before the holidays - but are these shirts worth the price point. The last one to be reviewed is the Jessica Rabbit Salute Shirt.

NEW Roger And Jessica Shirts At World Of Disney
There isn't enough time for Roger and Jessica Rabbit fans to rest - because the news just keeps coming. This surprised even me though. A good friend of ImNotBad.com has reported on FOUR new shirts which have been released at World of Disney in Walt Disney World (now confirmed at Disneyland also).

Jessica Rabbit Merchandise Review #52 - Jessica Surfboard Shirt

If you are a Jessica Rabbit fan, once 2003 hit, your wallet was definitely starting to slim down. Not only was a new Jessica pin coming out often, but there were also a new crop of shirts offered. Some of them depicted the diva of Toontown dressed in a bikini and grass skirt, which seemed to become a new fan-favored look. The Jessica Rabbit With Surfboard button down shirt was certainly made to add a lot of va-va-voom to your wardrobe.

Jessica Rabbit Merchandise Review #44 - Jessica's Custom Speedshop Shirt
It's been a while since we had a new Jessica Rabbit t-shirt available. When it comes to Jessica shirts, the wardrobe selection of the past is always something to remembered. With embroidered button-down shirts, and retro-style tees, if a Jessica shirt came out - it was something worth getting! This time around though, it's not our Jessica who does not deliver, it's the Disney quality.Friday, February 17, 2012
NEW Jessica Rabbit Motorcycle tshirt
Here is a look at the NEW Jessica Rabbit shirt from Downtown Disney locations. Not too much info on this other than it was just released - and it's of Jessica straddling a motorcycle. It says Jessica's Custom Speedshop on the front, and there is an eye-opening image of Jessica on the back. Talk about suggestive, Jessica is showing a lot of - junk in the trunk! This may be one of those shirts that is not around for a long time if there are any complaints.*Update* FOUND! Finally. It seems this shirt cannot be found in the Disney system, as "Jessica" is not in the title of the item. For anyone interested in buying it - they are $24.95 each! If you call to order it the SKU number is 400006320537. The castmember told me the shirt is making the rounds to Epcot and a few other locations, but that the World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney did not have many left in stock as of that moment. However, it's being reported that there are plenty of these shirts to go around.
