How It Ranks On Disney+
The Disney+ streaming service is ready for launch this week and the company will be offering plenty of content to keep fans busy. On October 14th their Twitter page showed all the movies and shows that will be available on day one. Each of these was sent out in a separate tweet. Not only did this make for a lengthy twitter feed, but I believe this gives Disney a chance to easily see which of these properties the fans enjoy - if the Likes are any indication. Lets take a look at the top 50 Disney Movies and Shows ranked by Likes...

In Memory Of Richard Williams
I am deeply saddened to learn about the passing of animation legend Richard Williams. His understanding of movement and illusion is what made Who Framed Roger Rabbit possible. His works remain as some of the best examples of brilliant animation.

A Roger Rabbit Sequel Is Sitting At Disney
Rumors and talk are back again. Will there ever be any new projects for Roger Rabbit? Talk of a sequel started right after the movie saw a successful release in 1988, with a target set for around the early 90's. Then, due to a possible feud between Roger Rabbit's co-owners (Disney's Michael Eisner and Amblin's Steven Spielberg) Roger almost vanished from the face of Disney entirely. It's not something that was ever fully explained. Here's a timeline to take a look back at all the talk, serious or rumor, about the Roger Rabbit sequel.

30 Years Of Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Today marks 30 long years since the debut of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, a cherished movie that successfully blends live action with animation. As the tagline states, 'It's the story of a man, a woman and a rabbit in a triangle of trouble.', and all these years later the movie is still as entertaining as it was when it debuted in 1988. The movie was originally based on the novel Who Censored Roger Rabbit by author Gary K. Wolf. Some of the elements changed for the film version but a lot of the characters remained, such as detective Eddie Valiant, the seductive Jessica Rabbit, and her husband, the famous Roger Rabbit. While in the last few years there seemes to be less attention given to our beloved characters, there have been notable accomplishments along the way. Let's take a look...

15 Years Of Posting Jessica Rabbit News
2018 marks my 15th year of posting Jessica Rabbit news and info! This all began back in 2003, I started a Jessica Rabbit Yahoo Group just as her pins first started to be created during the Official Pin Collecting heyday. I was continually surprised to see even more merchandise soon follow like statues, mugs, shirts and more! After several great years on the Yahoo Group I decided to buy the ImNotBad.com domain name. Slowly, I added more and more to the site with things like Merchandise Reviews and Artist Interviews. The Jessica news might have slowed down in the last couple of years but I keep the site here, always dedicated to the Toontown diva herself. Jessica Rabbit is my favorite cartoon character and has been ever since I saw the movie in 1988. I am glad I can serve as a place people can always go to learn more or get any information. I thank everyone who continues to enjoy this site and am very honored to be at over 1.5 Million Page Views today. Here's a sample of the front page news and art from over the last 15 years!

Who Is Betsy Brantley - Jessica Rabbit's Mysterious Stand-In
The task of bringing Jessica Rabbit to life was not an easy one. Animators went through several different design variations before they hit upon the final look that ended up on screen. It also took more than one woman to fill her shoes with speaking lines, singing and a stand-in. While we know the speaking voice was famously delivered by Kathleen Turner, and the singing voice from the Ink and Paint club beautifully crooned by Amy Irving, there is little said about the actress who stood in place FOR Jessica during rehearsals and scene preparations, Betsy Brantley. Let's find out more about who she is and how she helped create Jessica Rabbit...

Jessica Rabbit Movie Moment Monday - Jessica And Roger
Roger and Jessica Rabbit are one of the most unique cartoon couples in history - with Jessica being a tall, curvaceous bombshell and Roger being a floppy-eared rabbit. Though their time together on-screen was short, the movie was still a hit with its smooth combination of live-action and cartoon characters. This Movie Moment Monday is simply - the end, all of it. Roger and Jessica finally together in one frame! We get the more iconic imagery of the film by the end, with Roger and Jessica tied together in the Acme Factory awaiting their fate. The movie isn't where it all really began. Roger and Jessica had a fairly different relationship prior to Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and their origins go back to the early 80's from the book Who Censored Roger Rabbit? by author Gary K. Wolf. So, in order to have had their small movie moment together, we do have to refer to the book.

Jessica Rabbit Movie Moment Monday - Jessica And Eddie
Jessica's screen time with Eddie Valiant is the third Movie Moment Monday, and as you will see was also to be a little different than what ended up in the film. After the deleted Pig Head Scene, Jessica confronts Eddie - realizing how guilty she appears. Eddie doesn't trust her and suspects she is involved in framing her husband. It's in this scene that the famous line is delivered by Jessica Rabbit: "I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way."

Jessica Rabbit Movie Moment Monday - The Deleted Scene
The infamous deleted Pig-Head scene is the topic of the second Movie Moment Monday, and there was a lot more too it than what you saw on the DVD. Above you can see two stills from The Making of Who Framed Roger Rabbit special, showing a few seconds of Eddie Valiant actually snooping around Jessica's dressing room. It appears the deleted scene (found on the Special Edition and Blu Ray DVD) was to be a little longer and in-depth.

Jessica Rabbit Movie Moment Monday - The Ink And Paint Club
This month on ImNotBad.com we are going to review a memorable Movie Moment each Monday, and take a look back at what made Jessica Rabbit such an iconic character of the 80's.
The first photo is from Jessica's on-screen debut, during her show-stopping performance at the Ink and Paint Club. A point that might have gone unnoticed to the audience is that the Ink and Paint Club was based on real clubs of the 1940's. The Cotton Club was one such real establishment, where African Americans were not allowed in as patrons, but could be performers. This was a small undertone in the movie, but we can get the idea that the Toons were not treated equally to humans.

If the Jessica Rabbit Medicom statue ever had a cameo in Toy Story - it might look something like this. Here is the Jessica statue brought to life and singing her song in an amazing video made by John Andrew Cameron. Check it out!

Painting Rubber Penguins: Making Who Framed Roger Rabbit
The magic is in the details, and a movie like Who Framed Roger Rabbit is full of little things that had to be made for the project. Have a look at this informative video (part of The Elstree Project which seeks to preserve the legacy of the "British Hollywood") with interviews from matte and roto supervisor Annie Elvin, scenic artist Ron Punter, and pops master Barry Wilkinson. These particular stories are all about the making of Who Framed Roger Rabbit and what it took to bring the movie to life. Fake beer bottles, cartoony props and painted penguins are all part of what is discussed by the very people who made it happen.

Roger Rabbit Artist Jacques Muller
The Who Wacked Roger Rabbit novel was released a few days ago, and as you might have noticed, although it's an eBook, it was accompanied by some awesome cover artwork. You might say serendipity brought artist Jacques Muller to Gary Wolf at the right time. Gary was looking for an artist for the novel cover, and when he noticed a Facebook page with a picture of Roger and Jessica, he contacted that very person. Not only did Gary have the animation cel he saw in the Facebook profile - but the profile belonged to Jacques - who had actually animated that very scene! Jacques signed on to do the artwork and has given us some great images of the new characters in Toontown.
Musa Publishing gave us more insight on Jacques' work with Disney and info on the new characters with a great article:
