'Prop Culture' Series Coming To Disney+

Disney+ will soon offer a rare peek into the archives of a few beloved and classic movies. Prop Culture is a new series that will take an in-depth look at movie props, costumes and artifacts - some which haven't been seen in decades. Hosted by collector Dan Lanigan, he'll take us on an expedition to find everything from Mary Poppins magical bag to Roger Rabbit's bendable stand-in.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit, a movie that seamlessly combined live action with animation, will have an entire episode devoted to giving us a look at some of the treasures of Toontown. Let's see what else will be revealed...

A brand new Roger Rabbit t-shirt is now available through the ShopDisney website. This shirt comes as a big surprise, since there hasn't been a shirt solely featuring Roger for quite some time. It is listed as a "mens" shirt, but other than for sizing purposes I think it can be worn by anyone. Roger is front and center resting his head in his hand. The pose comes straight from the movie when he is singing in Delores' bar. The movie logo is above him. The sleeves and collar are red, the background of the shirt is white. It sells for $26.95.

30 Years Of Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Today marks 30 long years since the debut of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, a cherished movie that successfully blends live action with animation. As the tagline states, 'It's the story of a man, a woman and a rabbit in a triangle of trouble.', and all these years later the movie is still as entertaining as it was when it debuted in 1988. The movie was originally based on the novel Who Censored Roger Rabbit by author Gary K. Wolf. Some of the elements changed for the film version but a lot of the characters remained, such as detective Eddie Valiant, the seductive Jessica Rabbit, and her husband, the famous Roger Rabbit. While in the last few years there seemes to be less attention given to our beloved characters, there have been notable accomplishments along the way. Let's take a look...

15 Years Of Posting Jessica Rabbit News

2018 marks my 15th year of posting Jessica Rabbit news and info! This all began back in 2003, I started a Jessica Rabbit Yahoo Group just as her pins first started to be created during the Official Pin Collecting heyday. I was continually surprised to see even more merchandise soon follow like statues, mugs, shirts and more! After several great years on the Yahoo Group I decided to buy the ImNotBad.com domain name. Slowly, I added more and more to the site with things like Merchandise Reviews and Artist Interviews. The Jessica news might have slowed down in the last couple of years but I keep the site here, always dedicated to the Toontown diva herself. Jessica Rabbit is my favorite cartoon character and has been ever since I saw the movie in 1988. I am glad I can serve as a place people can always go to learn more or get any information. The Jessica Rabbit Rock Candy figure by Funko has officially been released and is showing up at retailers online and in-store. Entertainment Earth made these available for pre-order and is currently out of stock but may get more. Barnes and Noble also has her listed but is out of stock online as well. Online retailer Big Bad Toy Store has her available and at her original price. Hot Topic has them through their website and also in certain stores, with the price being a few dollars more than usual. If you're having any trouble finding her you can use Funko's catalog search to locate and contact a retailer near you. Jessica Rabbit Rock Candy Figure Revealed

Funko continues to expand on their Rock Candy figure series and recently announced more Disney characters will be added to the line. Alice in Wonderland, Mrs. Incredible, Maleficent, Cruella DeVil and Jessica Rabbit were revealed through Funko's website. Jessica is currently listed on certain websites like Barnes and Nobel and GameStop for purchase soon. You can pre-order her through Entertainment Earth. The price for each Rock Candy figure is around $9.95. This figure is a full vinyl statue of Jessica Rabbit and will feature glitter on her dress. The box will have her name, movie logo and blue Ink and Paint Club curtains.
