Who Framed Roger Rabbit is still known for is groundbreaking achievements in successfully blending live action with animation. It has been almost 35 years since any figures have been released, but the colorful characters of Toontown have finally made their leap off the big screen and into the action figure realm. Five characters from the movie are available: Roger Rabbit, Jessica Rabbit, Smarty Weasel, Judge Doom and Stupid Weasel are beautifully recreated as ReAction Figures by Super7.

Roger Rabbit ReAction Figures By Super7 Revealed

For almost 35 years there had been certain characters missing when it comes to action figure form but, at last, Super7 has filled the void in the world of Who Framed Roger Rabbit collectibles. A series of five brand new ReAction figures will be released very soon, and fans of the movie can finally have some of their favorite characters from Toontown.

Huge news coming out of Super7 - they posted a teaser image of an upcoming Who Framed Roger Rabbit figure! It shows the gloved hand of Judge Doom holding the poor squeaking shoe over the barell of dip. The only official word we have so far is that the figure or figures are coming soon. Stay Tooned!

Detective Jessica Rabbit Debuts In Toontown

The new version of Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin was unveiled on December 8th 2021. It was reported in September 2021 that Jessica would be promoted to a Private Eye and help put an end to a Toontown crimewave by The Weasels. 

The changeover took place through the night and the attraction was closed most of the day. There was never an official announcement by Disney on when this change was occurring, nor anything to commemorate the new changes.

Disneyland's Toontown Reimagining Set For 2023

 

With so much talk and rumor going around of possible changes coming to the Roger Rabbit attraction in Disneyland, there weren't many updates on new ideas coming to Toontown, until now. The Disney Parks Blog officially revealed plans to make upgrades to the entire land, which will be home to the new Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway attraction. Let's take a closer look at what this reimagining has to offer...

Jessica Rabbit Ride Rumors And Refurb

It's being reported by various blogs and news outlets that the Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin ride in Disneyland, California will be receiving a revamp by removing offensive imagery and shift focus to the central character of Jessica Rabbit - Private Eye.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit Gets 4K Upgrade

The news coming from The Digital Bits is that Who Framed Roger Rabbit will get a 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray release some time in the near future. The movie has been released on DVD previously (in 1999 and then in 2003 and 2013 for its 15th and 25th Anniversaries respectively) but now it will be tooled for 4K resolution so that every detail can be appreciated.
