'Once Upon A Time' Visits Pleasure Island

Once Upon A Time has done a great job sending us to many well known locations from the Disney universe. There had even been many that are new or weren't part of it before. In Season Six Episode 12 titled Murder Most Foul David tries to search for clues as to what happened to his father. With only a small coin to guide him, and Hook's help, they discover the last known whereabouts - Pleasure Island.

Once Upon A Time Action Figures Wave One Revealed

Disney's hit TV show Once Upon A Time recently concluded a fifth season on ABC and has been renewed for a sixth. It has gained many fans and followers who have been very early awaiting more in the form of merchandise based on the show and its characters. Thanks to Icon Heroes we now have the first ever action figures based on the show. Wave One of the action figure series was shown at San Diego Comin-Con and will be available at the end of 2016. Four characters were revealed, each packed with accessories and lots of detail, with another four scheduled for 2017. Let's take a closer look...

"Once Upon A Time" First Action Figure Revealed

Disney has a hit with its Once Upon A Time series, which recently concluded a fifth season on ABC and has been renewed for a sixth. There has not been much in the way of merchandise for this show. Thanks to Icon Heroes we now have the first ever action figure for the show, packed with accessories and lots of detail.

Exclusive D23 Once Upon A Time Dolls Revealed

Late tonight there was a sneak peek of some exclusive merchandise coming to D23 2015. While we haven't had any official announcements or information directly from Disney, sharp-eyed fans found a listing on eBay for two exclusive dolls that appear to be a convention exclusive (meaning they will only be available at the convention). For the first time ever there will be two dolls based upon the characters from ABC's Once Upon A Time, the Enchanted Forrest versions of Snow White and Regina the Evil Queen. Once Upon A Time Returns This Month

The summer is over, and the cold might be arriving quicker than you think. One of ABC's breakout shows, One Upon A Time, will be adding the characters from Frozen to the live action fairytale series. While I avoided watching this series at first, it was only in the last few months I began to watch it - and found myself already caught up on all three seasons. It's not a typical fairytale drama - it has the deeper storytelling appeal of Lost combined with the action and colorful theme similar to the Hercules and Xena TV shows.

The series begins with The Evil Queen casting a dark curse on the land and its inhabitants, which actually brings them into the real world and left them forgetting who they really were. The colorful cast of characters do come from Disney's library - such as Aurora and Ariel - while others haven't been featured in Disney movies, like Rumpelstiltskin and Red Riding Hood. They all have a back-story and are fleshed out as real characters with very intricately woven storylines.

The first season dealt with the curse, and finding the savior of the town - which happened to be Snow White's daughter sent to the real world as a baby in hopes of one day breaking the spell. Season two included Wonderland and it's characters, while season three was set in Neverland and also had the likings of the Wicked Witch of the West causing havoc in the town.

The acting, characters and writing are entertaining on many levels and new Disney favorites keep getting added to this magical town. Once Elsa arrives, there's no telling what's going to happen and many people are anxious to find out if she's going to be friend or foe. Once Upon A Time returns on Sunday, September 28th at 8pm on ABC.
