Who Framed Roger Rabbit Live Experience By Future Cinema

For the first time ever, the Ink and Paint Club is brought to life for a night of music, entertainment and cartoon craziness. Future Cinema in London has created a Who Framed Roger Rabbit live experience, with an evening full of dancing - and getting frisked! Not simply a movie screening, this presentation brings you into the world of Roger Rabbit via the Ink and Paint Club where you meet like likes of Eddie Valiant, Marvin Acme, Judge Doom, The Weasels - and Jessica Rabbit!

This is a fully immersive performance, where you can dress up to match the time period and even interact with the actors. Future Cinema is a live events company that specializes in creating a new way to experience your favorite films - with actors, set pieces and special effects. You truly get to live in your favorite movie for an evening.

The Ink And Paint Club Opens Valentine's Day

The news of the Roger Rabbit screenings in the UK was bigger that I thought. Future Cinema in London is presenting several performances of the Who Framed Roger Rabbit film. So, this is no ordinary screening. Future Cinema is a live events company that specializes in creating a new way to experience your favorite films - with actors, set pieces and special effects. Their extremely stunning performance of Ghostbusters included the famous dining room set up on stage, lights and effects, audience assistance, and a giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. You don't just watch a movie, you are immersed in that world and become part of it.

So what is planned for the Roger Rabbit performance? As of now we do know that the theater they are performing at will be set up like the Ink and Paint Club, so there's no doubt this will be a show worth seeing for yourself! The Jessica Rabbit Debate - Park Character Under Heavy Scrutiny

For all these 25 years since Who Framed Roger Rabbit was released, I had hoped for the day when somehow Jessica Rabbit would be a walk-around character in the Disney parks. It seemed very much improbable. Pretty darn close to every Disney character has been included over the years. However, regardless of popularity, ANY character omissions are very noticeable. Jessica was one of those characters, from a ground breaking and critically acclaimed movie, to never be seen walking around the parks. On May 24 2013, Jessica Rabbit made her first ever character debut in the Disneyland Paris park, which was part of the Disney Dreamers Event. The photos got a lot of attention, very VERY negative attention. People were not at all pleased with how Jessica looked.

The big argument around the internet was that Jessica should be a face character. This is not technically the first time there was a real Jessica character by Disney. They did toy with the idea back in 1991 for their Disney On Ice show, making that her only live appearance until now. The Jessica character for that show was a woman in a Jessica costume. While it was great the character was included, there is something that didn't hit the mark - and that brings us to the face vs. masked debate.

Jessica Rabbit Had A Real Costume

Earlier this year, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London showcased the Hollywood Costume exhibition. News stretched around the world with photos of THE most iconic movie costumes in cinema history all under one roof. The exhibit's purpose was to call attention to the important role a costume can have in movie storytelling. Darth Vader, Dorothy Gale, Indiana Jones, Scarlett O'Hara, Spiderman, Dick Tracy and The Blues Brothers were just a few of the 100 costumes open for public viewing. While the exhibit itself was something to behold, there was also a never-before-revealed bit of information about Jessica Rabbit. What could a costume exhibit have to do with Jessica.....

Disney's Only Official Jessica Rabbit FOUND

THIS JUST IN! ImNotBad.com reader, Daniel, went on a search for the elusive Jessica Rabbit from the Walt Disney World on Ice show back in 1990. I for one have never seen any photos of her and didn't even know she was in this show until recently, which was confirmed by Roger Rabbit creator, Gary Wolf. We now have a photo of the first ever live Jessica Rabbit costumed character - officially by Disney!

According to The Disney Wiki, Roger Rabbit made a guest appearances in two of the Disney on Ice shows. During his first appearance at the Walt Disney World on Ice: 10th Anniversary show in 1991, Roger helps Scrooge McDuck find Huey, Dewey and Louie who all disappeared when a time machine wreaks havoc. Feeling bad for Scrooge, Roger brings him to Eddie Valiant's office. Roger and Eddie try to cheer up Scrooge by telling him jokes, but it does not seem to work. Then Jessica Rabbit joins in!
