Pin Release - Who Framed Roger Rabbit 30th Anniversary Cast Member Exclusive

There is a new pin released for the 30th Anniversary of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It is part of an Anniversary Series and is pin #17. The pin shows Jessica Rabbit standing in front of a brick wall with Roger's outline cut away, much like how it appeared in the Disney-MGM studios. Jessica's dress is dark pink glitter filled. The movie logo is at the bottom and is a pin-on-pin. It is marked for the 30th Anniversary. This pin is a Limited Edition of 1000 and is available to purchase by Cast Members Only.

Roger And Jessica Rabbit Lanyard Released

A new Roger and Jessica Rabbit lanyard was released in February and is a Cast Member Exclusive. The lanyard is black rope with a clip on the end. Roger and Jessica are the medallion. They are surrounded by hearts, with Roger gazing lovingly at Jessica. The heart outline and Jessica's dress are glitter filled. There will be a new lanyard design released each month through all of 2017.

Pin Preview: Roger And Jessica Rabbit Cast Exclusive Lanyard

A new Roger and Jessica Rabbit lanyard has been previewed for release this year and will be a Cast Exclusive. The lanyard is schedule for release in February and it's not known yet if the images pictured are the medallion for the lanyard or if it is one of the pins that will be included. Roger and Jessica are surrounded by hearts, with Roger gazing lovingly at Jessica. There will be a new lanyard design released each month through all of 2017.

Pin Release - Jessica Rabbit DCA Pins Collection Five

A fifth series of Castmember Jessica Rabbit pins was released some time in September 2014. The uniforms she is dressed in consists of Space Mountain, Tomorrowland 1, Tomorrowland 2, Fantasy Faire, Small World, Guest Relations, Emporium, Disneyland Railroad and Market House. The pins are a Limited Edition of 150 and as usual for this set are Walt Disney Imagineer Exclusives and were only sold to Disney employees. The previous set of pins sold for $14.95 each, so these were probably the same.

Pin Release - Jessica Rabbit DCA Pins Collection Four

A fourth series of Castmember Jessica Rabbit pins was released on Saturday, November 9th. This time, there are nine pins in all. They are Walt Disney Imagineer Exclusives and were only sold to Disney employees. Jessica Rabbit is dressed as Disneyland Castmembers, each pin is a different costume from a ride or attraction. They are a Limited Edition of 150 and sold for $14.95 each pin. The uniforms are Indiana Jones, Splash Mountain, Storybook Land, Critter Country, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Mickey's Toontown and Big Thunder Mountain.

When it comes to Jessica Rabbit pins, the number is surprisingly large for a character who was not used in any merchandising for many years. With that number now reaching over 600 as of 2013 - it's downright impossible to collect every single Jessica pin. Especially with Disney's use of Mystery Sets and the very low edition sizes from the Disney Actions days - it's pretty definite that no one out there can possibly have the entire collection. Well, one woman actually HAS accomplished this! Every Jessica Rabbit pin to date. Every park exclusive. Every LE 50. Naturally, I had some questions for her about her collections, which pins are her favorites and why she thought the hobby of pin collecting (and Jessica Rabbit pin collecting in general) became so popular.

How long have you been a pin collector?

Nicole:
Well, I've been a casual pin collector since before official pin trading started in 2000. I remember my first pin being some little Tinker Bell pin they sold at the Disney Store, sometime in the 1990s. I continued to purchase a pin here or there while at the Parks until 2005, when I found out about Pin Trading Nights at WDW, as well as the online pins at what was, at the time, Disneyshopping.com, and that's when things got serious!

Pin Release - WDI Armed Forces Day Jessica Rabbit Jumbo Medal

While we don't have anywhere near the amount of Jessica Rabbit pins as there had been a few years ago, they aren't in short supply. Another new pin was released, this time it is a Walt Disney Imagineering Exclusive. It comes on a red backer card with the WDI logo, year, and "Holidays" printed in gold. The pin is a dangle in the shape of a medal. The top portion is red white and blue. The dangle medal has a gold border with Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and Air Force debossed around the perimeter - separated by stars. Jessica Rabbit is in the center wearing a uniform and saluting with the American Flag as the backdrop. This is a jumbo pin, a Limited Edition of 250 and was sold only to Disney Imagineers

Pin Release - WDI Roger and Jessica Valentine

Released on February 9th is the WDI Valentine's Day 2013 Jessica and Roger Rabbit Pin. It is an LE 250 and was only sold at Disney Cast Member stores for $12.95 each. It features Jessica and Roger Rabbit in a teacup from the Mad Tea Party ride. The background is a dark-pink glitter filled heart, with other colored hearts inside. The teacup is filled with sliver glitter and also has hearts on it. Roger and Jessica sit back and enjoy a spin. Jessica's hair is flowing and she is wearing a Mickey Ears Hat. The backer card is red, with the Imagineering logo, 2013, and Holiday printed in gold foil.

Pin Release - Jessica Rabbit DCA Collection Three

The third Jessica Rabbit DCA Pin Series was released on January 14th at the Mickey's of Glendale Cast Member Store, selling for $12.95 per pin. These pins are Imagineer Exclusives, and a Limited Edition 150 each. The nine pins in this series are Jessica Rabbit wearing cast member uniforms from the Tower of Terror Gift Shop, Luigi's Flying Tires, Monsters Inc Ride, Buena Vista Street Guest Control, Hyperion Theater, Outdoor Vending, Flo's Cafe, Oswald's, and Challenge Trail.

Pin Rumors - WDI Jessica Rabbit Costume Series Continues

There is rumor of a huge Jessica Rabbit pin release coming soon. The Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI) series continues and will see another release of pins to continue the line where Jessica Rabbit is wearing different uniforms from the Disney California Adventure Park. Unfortunately, being pins for Cast Members only, they aren't available to the general public and can only be traded for or purchased on eBay at triple the price for the sets. The series is now becoming highly sought after, with each design being a limited edition of only 150. There is also rumor that the series will branch out to Jessica Rabbit in Disneyland Park uniforms as well.

Pin Release - Jessica Rabbit DCA Pins Collection Two

They've done it again. Disney surprised us with another six-pin release of Jessica Rabbit in different Disneyland Park attire. They were released at the D23 Convention on November 10th - and as expected, all pins sold out. They are a limited edition of 150 and originally sold for $12.95 each.

Pin Preview - Castmember Jessica Rabbit Series

A brand new Jessica Rabbit series is about to cause a stir for pin collectors (photos via MiceChat.com and Disneyana Facebook). At the upcoming Disneyana Event on July 22nd, the Castmember Jessica Rabbit series has some of the more promising pins we have seen in a long time. Jessica is dressed as a castmember from different Disneyland attractions (Minnie's Fly Girls, Radiator Springs Racers, Toy Story Midway Mania, Soarin' Over California, Ariel's Undersea Adventure, and The Tower of Terror. Customers will be limited to purchasing only one of each style - each pin is a Limited Edition of 150 and will sell for $12.95 each. Already, people are trying to figure out how to snag these pins, as Jessica Rabbit in other costumes has always proven to be a popular theme.
