New Custom Jessica Rabbit Art At Tiki Toons Event

On Saturday, May 23rd, the Van Eaton Galleries in California held a Tiki Toons Group Art Show and Sale. The exhibit runs through June 13, 2015 so there's still a chance for you to check out the art. There is a huge selection of one-of-a-kind artwork on display, and for sale, featuring different cartoon characters with a tiki theme. Characters like The Misfits from Jem, Scooby Doo, Frozen, Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny, Betty Boop, Spongebob, Cruella, Stitch, The Flintstones and more were all the subject of this event. Take a look at the two Jessica Rabbit pieces which were on display...

These two Jessica pieces are quite the sight to behold. The first one is by Stephen Sandoval titled “Hula Rabbit." This time, Jessica is ready to hula, parting a beaded curtain and is bathed in warm yellow lights. She's wearing a pink top and grass skirt. She is dripping with sparkling flowers and there is even a hidden carrot in there... somewhere. It is a digital painting on paper, framed, measuring 24" x 18" and sold at the event! To see more of Stephen Sandoval's art check out his website.

The second piece is called “The Painted Paradise Bar” by artist Baron Von Genius. It is a digital and acrylic on paper framed piece measuring 22" x 14". Jessica is sitting at the bar having a smoke - waiting for her drink to be prepared by the octopus bartender from the Ink and Paint club. She's wearing a yellow flower lei, red flower print bikini top and green grass skirt. She's showing off a dangerous amount of leg, but if your eyes aren't too distracted you'll see a hidden Roger and Betty Boop in the Tiki Bar stools. Baby Herman is also at the bar, sitting on a book to give him a little height. This is masterfully pieced together, giving the whole thing a lot of dimension. This piece also sold at the event. To see more of his work, you can find Baron Von Genius on Facebook.
