Roger And Jessica Rabbit Retro Halloween Masks - Classic 80's Costumes

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!
Don't be alarmed, we're not seeing the new Disney Park Jessica Rabbit mask. As we get closer and closer to Halloween night, this will be the scariest, creepiest, most blood curdling post ever. Long ago, on some dark and rainy night - in a strange old factory filled with blank, expressionless faces, these evil masks were born.

Fireball Video Includes Roger And Jessica Rabbit Appeal

The song Fireball by Pitbull featuring John Ryan has a very interesting music video. The scene opens in black and white, with Pitbull making his way to a jazz speakeasy. While the club patrons are singing and dancing, in walks a beautiful woman - down a winding staircase and parts the curtains, which then turns the video to color.

The men in the club go crazy, quite literally. Eyeballs bug out of one guys head, another one has his tongue drop to the ground, and a third man's heart beats out of his chest wildly. It's something that looks straight out of Toontown - complete with a stunning beauty in a skin tight red dress. Have a look at the full video:

Flashback Friday - WDCC Jessica Rabbit Statue

The Walt Disney Classics Collection was started in 1992 and saw a wide collection of characters, such as Mickey Mouse, Buzz Lightyear, Stitch, Tinker Bell, Nightmare Before Christmas, Lion King, The Haunted Mansion, Small World, Snow White, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast - and of course, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The first WDCC Roger and Jessica piece, "Dear Jessica, How Do I Love Thee," was released in 1999, and "I'm Not Bad, I'm Just Drawn That Way" was released in 2004. Both statues are sculpted by Kent Melton, and are a great example of what a high-end Disney collectible should be. Sadly, the Walt Disney Classics Collection statues stopped production in winter of 2013. Take a look at the Jessica statue, which was first in the Leading Ladies series:

Jessica Rabbit Merchandise Review #70 - Jessica's Long Board Surf Shack Mug

It's been many years since the debut of Jessica's in her Hawaiian outfit. In 2003 a pin was released with Jessica in front of a large surf board and clad in a bikini top and grass skirt. This image later made its way to a t-shirt, a hat, a button-down shirt, a framed print and a beach towel. Take a look at the newest beach-going Jessica merchandise - the Surf Shack Mug.

Flashback Friday - Jessica Rabbit On Robot Chicken

The P-P-P-Perfect Crime was Robot Chicken's dark-humor parody featuring Roger Rabbit, Jessica Rabbit, Baby Herman and O.J. Simpson. Parody of Jessica Rabbit is few and far between, and this one is quite out-there. Read up about the skit - and watch it:

13 Jessica Rabbit Halloween Pins #13

Title: Jessica Rabbit Halloween Costume Jumbo Series 2007
Released: October 8 2007 on Disney's Website
Price: $14.95 each
Limited Edition: 250 each

LISTEN WELL, I'M JUST DRWAN THAT WAY! Unlike Jessica Rabbit Halloween pins before 2007, the pins in this series were jumbo sized - and it was the first year that Jessica got to dress as some of Disney's most memorable characters. I did manage to get Jessica Rabbit as Maleficent the day it was released. How I got it I don't know, but it's now THE most sought after Jessica Halloween pin, and Maleficent has become a very popular Disney character. Ending the 13 Creepy, Kooky, Spooky Jessica Rabbit Halloween Pins countdown is Jessica Rabbit as Maleficent. She is fully dressed as the evil fairy from Sleeping Beauty. This is a great pin and I never thought Jessica could make Maleficent look so good! She's decked out in the full black and purple costume, horns and magic staff. This pin did sell out fast the same day.

Title: Halloween 2008 Series Witch Jessica Pin
Released: October 6 2008 on Disney's Website
Price: $14.95
Limited Edition: 250
Sold Out

One of the fastest pins to sell out for Halloween 2008 was Witch Jessica Rabbit pin. Jessica is in full length fishnets, a large witch hat with a tattered veil, pointy gloves and a dress. She's sitting on a cauldron with green bubbles foaming around her. This is definitely one of my favorite pins - but beware when looking for it nowadays as there seem to be many fakes of this pin around.

Title: Jessica Rabbit Halloween Costume Jumbo Series 2009
Released: October 19 2009 on Disney's Website
Price: $16.95
Limited Edition: 300
Sold Out

After years of fast and mysterious pin sell out's and many complications with their website, Disney finally listened to customers and took action for 2009. The Tinker Bell, Jessica Rabbit and LE 100 Halloween pins required customers to order them by phone and were also limited to 3 pins per design per customer - and it was to stay in effect for a 24 hour period while supplies lasted - and it was something that worked! Customers got all treats and no tricks.

Jessica Rabbit as Ursula from The Little Mermaid was the favorite of that year. Jessica is totally redressed in a Ursula costume, complete with a black tentacle dress and seashell necklace, showing a lot of leg - in purple stockings and black heels. Jessica even has a tuft of grey hair, just like Ursula's. This is the first Jessica as Ursula pin to be release. There was another released at the Disney Studio Store in 2013.

Title: Jessica Rabbit Halloween Costume Series 2010
Released: October 4 2010 on Disney's Website
Price: $14.95
Limited Edition: 250
Sold Out

This Flashback Friday for the 13 Creepy, Kooky, Spooky Jessica Rabbit Halloween Pins countdown is filled with torture, mayhem and suspense!! For many years it was well known that Jessica's Halloween pins sold out all too quickly after release. There was no limit amount on how many you could buy and the pins did not require a phone order during this time. It was chaos once again and the pins sold out in no time. That is, if you could find them on the site. Disney changed the look of their site and people were having a little trouble navigating through it. Aside from that, every Monday pins were listed between midnight and 12:30 am (again for people on eastern time that's 3 in the morning!) Sometimes there is a little lag getting all the pins up, which is understandable. This did not happen the week before and mysteriously, none of the other Halloween pins that week sold out.
