Jessica Rabbit Candy Witch Pin Design Revealed

So it turns out that Disney is not always being original after all with their pin art. Here is the Jessica Rabbit Candy Witch Pin released earlier in October, and next to it a girls Halloween costume called Candy Corn Witch. It's available at Party City. Cute costume, but a huge disappointment knowing Disney is not making original art - even the pose is somewhat similar.

Jessica Rabbit Merchandise Review # 12 - Halloween Pins

The following Mega-Post covers all of the Jessica Rabbit Halloween pins released so far. Grab a drink, sit back and enjoy!

Title: Tombstone Pin Set Series
Released: September 2005 on Disney's Website
Price: $14.95 each, Base with Mickey Mouse Pin $39.95
Limited Edition: 1000 each

This is the very first Jessica Rabbit Halloween pin ever released - and not only that, but Jessica shares it with none other than Pluto. There were six sets released in this series - each with two pins.

Each couple was connected to a large resin tombstone between them. This was a first for Disney to get as imaginative as they did adding the tombstone - but it didn't end there. You can collect all of the sets and buy a separate display for them. All six of the sets could be placed in a slot on the slanted base for a fun graveyard diorama. The base had a haunted house background and came with a pin of Mickey Mouse dressed as The Big Bad Wolf. The display base sold separately for $39.95. So the whole thing would have cost over $130 - which is actually not too bad considering a six pin set nowadays sells for more, and you don't get a display or tombstones.

Rachael Ray as Jessica Rabbit

Tv's most likable host, Rachael Ray, will be dressed as none other than Jessica Rabbit for her Halloween episode! The show was recorded early but will air on Friday, October 29th. Not only that but the episode will air in eye-popping 3D (hhmmmmm). You can get the 3D glasses in next weeks issue of TV Guide, however the show was filmed in such a way that if you do not have the glasses you can still watch it without getting dizzy.

Trying to buy Jessica Rabbit Halloween Pins

Halloween Costume Series Jessica Rabbit as Cleopatra, Vampire, Candy Witch and Devil - 10/04/2010

Jumbo Halloween Costume Jessica Rabbit as Mad Hatter, Tinker Bell, Esmerelda and Jasmine - 10/18/2010

Finally, the sneak peeks for the Jessica Rabbit Halloween pin series have materialized! This year you can chose from Jessica as Cleopatra, a Vampire, a Candy Witch, and a Devil. It's not known exactly when these pins will be released but pins are released at midnight on Sunday/Monday (that's 3am Monday morning for people on the east coast).

**Update** The Jessica Rabbit 2010 Halloween Costume Pin series was released the morning of October 4th. The pins were very hard to find for most customers, not even appearing on any of DisneyStore.com's pages, yet some customers found them. The Vampire and Devil Jessica Rabbit pins sold out first, and very fast - followed by the Candy Witch and Cleopatra pins later in the morning. The Tinker Bell pins, and several other pins, also suffered the same technical glitches. These pins were mainly found only when customers who did not have a problem with the website sent out a direct link to the pin pages via chat and message boards to people who could not find them. There were also problems during check-out as well and there was no limit amount on how many pins a customer could buy at one time. This was by far the craziest and most problematic Jessica Rabbit Halloween pin release ever.

The Jessica Rabbit Halloween pin series for 2010 was very hard to find for most people. It did not come up on Disney's pages or when doing a search. Only when provided the correct link by other customers could these and several other Halloween pins be found.

Even though they were so hard to find for most people, somewhow the Jessica Halloween pins sold out the same day.

Vampire and Cleopatra Jessica Rabbit sold out in about an hour.
